Qualis Energy / How it works
One enquiry. However many trades it needs.
You should not have to diagnose your own building before you are allowed to ask for help. Here is what actually happens between your first call and the day we hand the system over.
You tell us what the building is doing
Call 0333 090 7546, email hello@nord-group.co.uk, or go straight to the brand.
What we want at this stage is the symptom, not the solution — the room that never gets warm, the electricity bill that has doubled, the boiler that keeps locking out, the AC that trips out every August. On a commercial site, the roof somebody suggested you should be doing something with.
We will tell you on that first call which of our brands is likely to be involved, roughly what the range of cost looks like, and whether it is worth a survey at all. If it isn't one of ours, we will say so and point you somewhere sensible.
A specialist surveys it — free, and properly
The right engineer attends the site. On mixed jobs that may be two of them on the same visit, so you are not rearranging access three times.
We measure and record rather than estimate. On solar that means working from your actual roof drawings and your actual half-hourly consumption data. On cooling and heating it means pipe runs, electrical capacity, unit condition and access constraints — the things that turn into variations later if nobody looks at them now.
The survey is free of charge and carries no obligation. Where a specialist structural survey is needed — on a commercial roof, say — that is never part of this stage; it is priced into the job itself, and you will see it as a line on the proposal before you commit to anything.
You get one written proposal
Itemised line by line, so you can see what each element costs rather than a single number to take on faith. Fixed where it can honestly be fixed, and clearly flagged as provisional where it genuinely depends on something we cannot know yet.
Exclusions are written down in plain English. If scaffolding, roof strengthening, a DNO application or a consumer-unit upgrade is not in the price, it says so on the page — not in a footnote you find after signing.
Where more than one brand is involved, it is still one document, one programme and one total.
We install, commission and document
One project manager owns the job from order to handover, whichever brands are on site. You get their direct number, not a switchboard.
Everything is commissioned and recorded: performance readings, F-Gas logbook entries, Gas Safe and electrical certification, and a written commissioning report you can hand to a landlord, an insurer or an auditor without having to explain it.
The same team maintains it
Planned maintenance runs on a schedule we hold, not one you have to remember. Because the records sit in one place, the engineer who arrives in year four can see what was fitted in year one and why.
Warranty claims come to us. There is no argument about whether it is an installation fault or a manufacturer fault, because either way it is our problem to resolve.
The commercial bit
What "one company" actually means for you
One contract
Nord Group is the trading name for the group of companies. ArcticNord, EmberNord, AuraNord, ZenithNord and SOLARFIELD are all trading names of Qualis Energy Limited, so you contract with one legal entity regardless of how many brands attend site.
One invoice route
One set of payment terms, one company on the paperwork. For commercial customers, one supplier to onboard through procurement rather than five.
One place the buck stops
No boundary disputes between trades, because there is no boundary. If the heat pump team and the solar team disagree, that is an internal conversation, not your problem.
Next step
Describe the problem. We'll work out the rest.
Start with whichever brand fits what the building needs — a ten-minute call is usually enough to tell you whether a survey is worth booking.
