Qualis Energy / Accreditations
Assessed by people who are paid to be sceptical
Anyone can claim to be qualified. These are the schemes that check — on site, on paperwork, and on a renewal cycle we do not control.
Refrigerant & gas
F-Gas & Gas Safe
Two things you are not allowed to touch without registration: fluorinated refrigerant, and gas. Both require the company to be registered, not just the engineer holding the tools.

F-Gas registered
Registered to handle, recover and dispose of fluorinated refrigerant gases. Every engineer working on a refrigerant circuit holds individual C&G 2079 certification or equivalent.
ArcticNord

Gas Safe registered
All gas boiler installation, servicing and repair is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers — the legal requirement for anyone working on gas appliances in the UK. The register is public; you can check us before we come out.
EmberNord
Logbook & leak-check compliance
We maintain statutory F-Gas logbooks for every system we hold under contract, with leak-check intervals set by CO₂-equivalent charge — so the record exists before an inspector asks for it.
Systems under contract
Renewables
MCS, RECC & TrustMark
Heat pumps and solar PV only qualify for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, zero-rated VAT and most other funding if they are installed under MCS by a certified installer who also belongs to a recognised consumer code.

MCS certified
Certified under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme for air source heat pump and solar photovoltaic installation, assessed on documented installations rather than paperwork alone. NAPIT is our certification body.
AuraNord & ZenithNord

RECC accredited
Signatories of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code — the rules governing quotations, deposit protection, workmanship warranties and an independent route to resolve a dispute.
Consumer protection

TrustMark registered
Registered with TrustMark, the government-endorsed quality scheme covering standard of workmanship, fair trading practice and protection for the money you pay.
Government endorsed

Electrical certification
Electrical work forming part of an MCS installation is covered by our MCS certification, for which NAPIT is our certification body. Beyond that, electrical installation work is carried out and certificated by a NAPIT-registered partner.

Constructionline & SafeContractor
The prequalification schemes commercial and public-sector buyers ask for before a contractor is allowed on to a framework or on to site.

Constructionline
Pre-qualified against financial standing, insurance, environmental management, quality and equality — accepted by most local authorities and main contractors in place of their own PQQ.
Bronze member

SafeContractor approved
Annual third-party audit of health-and-safety competence, SSIP-recognised, with mutual recognition across other SSIP member schemes so buyers do not need to duplicate the assessment.
SSIP recognised
What we are not
We are not CHAS members and we are not REFCOM members. Both get assumed of a contractor holding our other accreditations, so it is worth saying plainly here rather than letting a buyer find out at tender stage.
